PANTRY ITEM OF THE MONTH

Be a Diaper Donor!

JFS is collecting diapers throughout June for Community Food Pantry clients. (Sizes 5, 6, and 7 are the most requested). Donations can be dropped off at JFS during business hours or in the bins at the JCC, Temple Beth El, and Congregation Bnai Shalom. The items can also be ordered through the JFS Amazon Wish List.

NEW SUPPORT GROUP

Siblings of Adults with a Disability

This group is an opportunity for siblings to interact with others who share a similar life journey, while examining the particular challenges and benefits of this unique experience.  Goals include:

  • Exploring resources and information
  • Cultivating mutual support and connection with others
  • Reducing social isolation
6 weeks
Virtual
$200 fee (waived for pilot)

Group runs on Tuesdays, July 1 to August 5 from 7:30-8:30 p.m.

Jewish Family Service of the Lehigh Valley, guided by Jewish values, helps individuals and families to live healthier and more stable lives by providing social services, professional counseling, education and community programs.

COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY

Our Community Food Pantry provides supplemental assistance to individuals and families living in the 18104 zip code, regardless of religion. Contact us to make an appointment.

OLDER ADULT SERVICES

Older adult case management can help you navigate the complex maze of aging services. A licensed clinical social worker will be your partner in developing a care plan that meets your specific needs.

COUNSELING

Licensed clinical social workers provide confidential professional counseling for individuals, couples, and families. Clients develop strategies to cope with change, loss, or the stresses of everyday life.

ACCESSIBILITY AND INCLUSION

Jewish Family Service of the Lehigh Valley provides education and best practices to help organizations promote inclusion and embrace the diversity of their community.
