GAINES FAMILY FOUNDATION
PRIZE IN ENGINEERING
$2,500 scholarship will be awarded to two students enrolled in a college engineering program in Fall 2025.
To qualify an applicant must:
- Be a Jewish high school student living in the Lehigh Valley
- Have demonstrated potential for success in engineering
- Have been accepted to a college or university, with the intent to enroll in an engineering program
What to Submit:
- An essay (500 words or fewer) highlighting educational interests and career plans
- Two letters of recommendation from teachers, guidance counselors, or religious leaders
- Copy of a recent transcript

MARTIN PHILIP MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
$1,000 scholarship will be awarded to two students entering a post high school educational program in Fall 2025.
To qualify an applicant must:
- Be a Jewish high school student living in the Lehigh Valley
- Have participated in community service and/or school activities
- Have been accepted to a college, university, community college, yeshiva, vocational, or technical school
What to Submit:
- An essay (500 words or fewer) highlighting educational interests and future plans
- Two letters of recommendation from teachers, guidance counselors, or religious leaders
- Copy of a recent transcript
